Faced with the growing rise of cyber threats, the Togolese Government is stepping up its actions to strengthen the digital resilience of the public and private sectors. It is in this dynamic that the Ministry of Digital Economy and Digital Transformation, through the National Cybersecurity Agency (ANCy), proceeded this Thursday, August 28, 2025 in Lomé, to the official launch of cybersecurity training for 250 professionals, 200 of whom will graduate with certifications.
This programme is implemented in partnership with the Togo Digital Agency (ATD), with the support of the ProDigiT (Digital Transformation of the Togolese Economy) project of GIZ Togo, co-financed by Germany, Luxembourg and the European Union. The objective is to equip these Togolese professionals with the necessary skills to anticipate, detect and respond effectively to digital threats.
Based on these globally recognized certifications, these training courses will allow participants to contribute to the protection and security of the information systems of the Togolese State and companies. As a reminder, the beneficiaries of the said training are exclusively Togolese nationals, reside in Togo and come from the public and private sectors.
With a minimum level of Bac+3 in computer science, they have experience in support, cybersecurity or network and systems administration. They were selected through a rigorous and inclusive process that resulted in the selection of the best after competitive testing.
