In a meeting focused on implementing the #NewTechnologyDeal, the Ministry of Communications, Telecommunications and Digital in Senegal met with a delegation from the West African Development Bank (BOAD) to discuss a strategic partnership for digital transformation.
During the meeting, the BOAD delegation presented its Digital Transformation Fund (FTD), an innovative financing mechanism backed by KfW that aims to support key digital projects. The parties explored potential synergies between Senegal’s priority digital projects and the funding options offered by the BOAD.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to building a structured and sustainable partnership to enhance digital sovereignty and the efficiency of public services. The minister, Alioune Sall, welcomed the convergence of views, stating that the partnership would be instrumental in Senegal’s digital transformation journey. The BOAD also confirmed its dedication to supporting the country’s efforts in this area.
