Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with his South African counterpart Cyril Ramaphosa. This is reported by the official website of the Russian President. The parties discussed international issues.
In addition, the Russian and South African leaders confirmed their mutual commitment to further developing a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries and to close cooperation in multilateral forums.
Putin and Ramaphosa last spoke by phone on 7 August, when they discussed ongoing issues of bilateral cooperation between Russia and South Africa.
