President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia today, Thursday, at the invitation of his brother, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom.
Presidential Spokesperson Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy said, “President El-Sisi’s visit comes within the framework of the strong historical relations between Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and reflects the two leaderships’ keenness to continue strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries, in addition to ongoing coordination and consultation on regional and international issues of common interest.”
Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy added, “The talks between President Sisi and the Saudi Crown Prince, scheduled to be held in Neom, will address ways to support and strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries, in a way that achieves common interests at various political, economic, and developmental levels.
The two leaders will also discuss the latest developments in the region, most notably the developments in the war in the Gaza Strip, in addition to the files related to Lebanon, Syria, Sudan, Libya, and Yemen, as well as the security of the Red Sea.”
