Gabonese startup POZI, a pioneer in connected mobility solutions, has successfully raised €650,000 in its first round of financing, led by Saviu Ventures, with participation from EMSY CAPITAL and Chazai Wamba. This marks a historic milestone for Gabon’s tech ecosystem, as it represents the first-ever international venture capital investment in a local technology company.
With more than 2,500 connected vehicles and nearly 200 corporate clients, POZI is redefining fleet management and data-driven decision-making for African enterprises. Its platform offers real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, and risk management tools tailored to the realities of African transport and logistics. POZI’s mission, captured in its slogan “Connecting Africa, one vehicle at a time,” reflects the company’s ambition to bridge digital gaps across the continent through smart mobility.
The startup plans to expand to Côte d’Ivoire in 2025 and is targeting 35,000 connected vehicles across 10 countries by 2030. The new funding will be used to enhance POZI’s technology infrastructure, expand its data analytics capabilities, and accelerate regional growth, positioning the company as a leading player in Africa’s emerging connected mobility landscape. This investment underscores growing international confidence in Central Africa’s digital transformation potential, and highlights Gabon’s evolving role as a hub for innovation and startup development.
