President of Ethiopia Taye Atske Selassie has presented a comprehensive national development agenda for the 2025–2026 fiscal year. Looking ahead, the plan prioritises large-scale projects across multiple sectors. In agriculture, a new fertiliser production plant is expected to boost farming efficiency and strengthen food security. This is reported by ENA, a partner of TV BRICS.
The development agenda also addresses housing and infrastructure, with initiatives to expand housing, improve rural access to clean water, electricity, and transport networks, and strengthen road, rail, and air connectivity. Tourism development is another key focus, with efforts to expand destinations, preserve cultural heritage, and upgrade transport infrastructure.
