The Kingdom of Morocco will officially launch the Morocco Digital Hub for Sustainable Development (D4SD) during a high-level side event at the 80th United Nations General Assembly. The Arab-African center of excellence in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is being established in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and several leading players from the digital ecosystem. The D4SD Hub represents a strategic initiative by Morocco to strengthen its leadership in digital transformation.
The initiative aligns with the country’s Digital Morocco 2030 strategy and actively contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As an Arab-African center of excellence, the Hub aims to foster innovation, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing in AI and data science, supporting both regional and global efforts to leverage digital technologies for sustainable development. The launch marks a significant milestone for Morocco, positioning the nation as a regional leader in digital solutions that drive socio-economic growth while promoting sustainability and inclusive development.
