President Paul Kagame has appointed Yves Iradukunda as Minister of State in the Ministry of ICT and Innovation (MINICT), according to a communiqué issued by the Office of the Prime Minister. Iradukunda, who previously served as the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, becomes the first person to hold the newly created position. His appointment reflects Rwanda’s continued emphasis on digital transformation and innovation as key drivers of national development.
